The agreement, UnitedHealthcare with Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Centene, Elevance Health, Guidewell, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, and the trade group America’s Health Insurance Plans, encompasses nearly 80% of insured Americans. Participating insurers have pledged to adopt electronic prior authorization using FHIR-based interfaces, reduce the number of procedures requiring prior approval by early 2026, preserve prior authorizations through insurance transitions, and dramatically expand the use of real-time decisions—most of which are expected to be approved instantly by 2027.

Today I said goodbye to Ziggy Stardust. During surgery they found a ruptured mass in his small intestine just at the duodenum. He’s my buddy, my pal, my friend, my baby boy… I’m heartbroken, but I did what’s best for my Ziggy. 💔

I don’t know Phil Vaught. I also never heard of him. However, he was indicted for pedophilia rape and what appears to possess more than 100 pieces of material that included a minor engaging in sexual activity.
