On the same day, the United States, under President Woodrow Wilson, issued a proclamation of neutrality—signaling a desire to remain apart from what many in America saw as a distant European conflict.

If Sesame Street was the same program from my childhood or my children’s childhood where they focused on learning and social skills, perhaps I’d be upset. The second they turned social skills into social justice, they no longer were an acceptable educational outlet for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Period!
