Stewart Parks: A Nashville resident & Real Estate business owner. He was pardoned for the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
Gino Bulso: A state representative and lawyer from Brentwood.
Mason Foley: An associate at Main Street Health.
Jason Knight: A Montgomery County Commissioner and combat veteran.
Lee Reeves: A Franklin Republican who previously worked for Congressman Green.
Jay Reedy: A state representative from Erin and U.S. Army veteran.
Jonathan Thorp: A U.S. Army veteran from Springfield, (Robertson County).
Matt Van Epps: The former Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services, who resigned to run for the seat.
The 7th District is comprised of portions of Davidson, Williamson and Montgomery counties — the largest population centers of the district — as well as 11 other counties in Middle and West Tennessee. It’s considered heavily favorable to Republicans even after 2021 redistricting drew in portions of traditionally Democratic Davidson County: President Donald Trump won the district in 2024 by 22.3%.
The primary election is slated for October 7 and the general election for December 2.

A Tennessee man who responded with anger to new restrictions on food stamp benefits went viral on social media as the Trump administration clamps down on fraud.
The new restrictions will apply to able-bodied people between the ages of 18 and 65 years who aren't disabled and refuse to work at least 20 hours per week. They also do not apply to those who have children under the age of 14 years in their home.
