The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Monday that Michail Chkhikvishvili, a leader of the extremist Maniac Murder Cult, pleaded guilty to sending instructions to make poison and bombs, as well as soliciting hate crimes, after he was extradited to the United States in May.
Chkhikvishvili was charged on a four-count indictment in the Eastern District of New York, according to the DOJ, which reported that charges include soliciting others to commit hate crimes and acts of mass violence against Jewish people in New York City.
